YPP OPENS LAGOS SECRETARIAT, ADMITS NEW MEMBERS

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) has opened its new state secretariat in Lagos and admitted a large number of new members as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday amid cheers from supporters and party faithful.

YPP leaders described the development as a major step towards building a strong grassroots structure in Nigeria’s commercial hub.

Speaking at the event, the party’s Lagos State Chairman said the secretariat would serve as a centre for policy innovation, youth engagement, and community development programmes.

Hundreds of new members, including professionals, youths, and defectors from other parties, were formally received into the fold.

The YPP expressed confidence that its message of good governance, transparency, and youth inclusion is resonating with Lagos residents who are seeking credible alternatives ahead of the next elections.

The opening of the secretariat is expected to boost the party’s visibility and mobilisation efforts across the state.
