Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has given winger Noni Madueke the green light to leave the club this summer amid growing interest from Arsenal.

The Gunners are reportedly keen on bringing the 23-year-old to the Emirates and have opened fresh transfer talks with Chelsea, who value the player at around £50 million.

Madueke joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 and signed a long-term deal running until 2030. However, his future at Stamford Bridge has come under scrutiny following the arrival of Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund.

In a recent interview, Maresca hinted at a possible squad shake-up, making it clear that only fully committed players will remain at the club.

“Noni has been very important for us during the season. Today, again, he has been important,” Maresca said.
“But my message to the players and the club is simple: I only want players who are happy to be here. Anyone who isn’t — they’re free to go.”

With Arsenal monitoring the situation closely, Madueke could be on his way out if a suitable offer is made.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
