Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has opened up about his time playing under José Mourinho at Fenerbahce.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager reportedly discussed Osayi-Samuel’s strengths and areas where he could improve.

Recalling his first day under Mourinho, Osayi-Samuel said,

“I remember my first day — I came late to training because I had a national team game. The first thing he said to me was, ‘You are a good player, but you need to run more.’ I was like, what? You know? That just shows what type of guy he is. He can be ruthless when things go wrong.”
