A member of the Presidential Campaign Council, Yishawu, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united and strengthen their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Yishawu made the call while speaking to APC members, emphasising the need for greater cooperation, commitment and grassroots mobilisation as the party begins preparations for another major electoral contest.

He encouraged party members to put aside internal differences and work towards a common objective, stressing that unity would be essential to the party's efforts to secure victory in the 2027 elections.

According to him, APC members have an important role to play in taking the message of the Tinubu administration to Nigerians and explaining the policies and programmes being implemented by the Federal Government.

Yishawu also called for stronger engagement with supporters at the grassroots, urging party members to remain active in their communities and maintain regular contact with the people they represent.

He said sustained mobilisation and effective communication would help the party consolidate its support base ahead of the elections.

The APC chieftain further urged members to remain focused and committed to the party despite the political activities and debates expected to intensify as the 2027 elections approach.

He maintained that the success of the party would depend not only on its leadership but also on the commitment of members at different levels to work together and mobilise support for its candidates.

The call comes as political activities surrounding the 2027 general elections continue to gain momentum, with political parties and their supporters increasingly turning their attention to preparations for the next electoral cycle.

For the APC, continued mobilisation of its members and strengthening of its grassroots structure are expected to remain key areas of focus as the party works towards the 2027 polls.
