YAHAYA CELEBRATES HAUSA COMMUNITIES

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has celebrated Hausa communities in the state, recognising their contributions to the cultural and social development of Gombe.

The governor praised members of the Hausa community for their role in promoting unity, peaceful coexistence and cultural values across the state.

Yahaya said the diversity of ethnic groups and cultures in Gombe remained an important part of the state’s identity and should be protected and encouraged.

He called on residents to continue embracing one another and working together to maintain peace and strengthen relationships among different communities.

The governor also acknowledged the contributions of traditional leaders and community members in preserving cultural heritage and promoting development at the grassroots.

He urged the Hausa community and other ethnic groups in the state to support government efforts aimed at improving the lives of residents.

Yahaya said his administration remained committed to ensuring that all communities receive equal attention and opportunities for development, regardless of their ethnic or cultural background.

He stressed the importance of peaceful coexistence, particularly at a time when communities across the country face various social and economic challenges.

The governor encouraged young people to value their cultural heritage while also pursuing education, skills and opportunities that could contribute to the development of the state.

Yahaya said Gombe’s strength lies in its diversity and urged residents to continue promoting tolerance, unity and mutual respect.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building an inclusive state where all communities can contribute to its growth and progress.
