An X user named Obiasogu David has criticized late Nollywood actor Junior Pope’s wife over a video featuring her and Mercy Johnson.

The duo recently shared a video online, showing off their curves and striking poses for the camera.

Reacting to the clip, Obiasogu noted that Jennifer looks stunning and was holding an iPhone 17 Pro Max, suggesting she seems to have moved on barely a year after her husband’s passing. He also remarked that the responsibility of raising three young boys doesn’t appear to weigh on her.

Obiasogu warned men about the risks of dying young, especially after recently marrying. He wrote:

“She’s looking so stunning, casually holding an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and appears to have already moved on, barely one year after losing her husband and raising three young boys. Dear men, do whatever you can not to die young, especially after newly marrying.”

A few weeks ago, Jennifer shared a humorous note her late husband had written to her while asking to borrow money. She explained that she came across it while looking through old pictures, and it brought a wide smile to her face.

For context, Junior Pope and others tragically lost their lives after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set produced by Adanma Luke on April 8, 2024.

On April 10, 2025, Jennifer marked his one-year remembrance, reflecting on the year of coping with unimaginable loss and noting that not a day has passed without thinking of him. She revealed how challenging it had been to stay strong while the world seemed to fall apart.

In May, she commemorated Junior Pope’s 45th posthumous birthday, sharing clips of him and his family and expressing her sadness at not being able to celebrate him with surprises as before, instead marking the occasion with tears and memories.

In July, Jennifer observed her 11th wedding anniversary with Pope. She admitted to having mixed emotions—grieving his absence yet finding comfort in his enduring presence—and confessed that at times, she wishes he could return.
