An unidentified woman has died after falling from a motorcycle and being struck by a truck along the Agbara-Lusada Expressway in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The incident occurred on Sunday, according to the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency.

The woman was reportedly travelling as a passenger on the motorcycle when she fell onto the road. A truck subsequently ran over her, resulting in her death.

TRACE officials responded to the scene and managed the situation while efforts were made to restore traffic flow along the busy expressway.

The incident adds to concerns over road safety on the Agbara-Lusada corridor, where motorcycles, trucks and other vehicles regularly operate alongside one another.

Authorities have continued to urge road users to exercise caution and comply with traffic regulations to reduce crashes and prevent avoidable loss of lives.
