“WISHING DEATH ON OTHERS IN MY NAME IS EVIL,” JUDY AUSTIN TELLS FANS
Nigerian actress Judy Austin, widely known for her controversial marriage to actor Yul Edochie, has called on her supporters to stop wishing death on people.
In an Instagram video shared on Tuesday, Austin reacted to disturbing flyers in which some of her fans appeared to target individuals they labeled as her opponents.
While expressing gratitude for her fans’ years of support, the actress emphasized that wishing harm on others does not reflect her values.
“Hi, my warriors, my Judy lovers. First of all, I want to thank you again for the way you fight for me and love me. I do not take it for granted. Thank you so much.
“I saw some very disturbing images showing people in a casket with posts wishing others dead. That really broke my heart. Let me be very clear: that kind of action does not represent me. It’s not love, it’s not support, and it’s wrong. Life is sacred. If you truly love me, please stop. Do not defend me by losing your humanity. This is too much, this is too low,” she stated.
The actress has repeatedly faced criticism on social media, with some netizens labeling her a “husband snatcher” following her highly publicized marriage to Yul Edochie.
