WIKE VISITS APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN NENTAWE YILWATDA IN ABUJA
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday paid a visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, at his residence in Abuja.
The meeting, which has already sparked political interest, was disclosed in a post shared on X by Imran Muhammad, an aide to the APC national chairman.
Although details of the discussion were not immediately made public, the visit comes amid increasing political realignments and consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Wike, a former governor of Rivers State and a prominent member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has continued to maintain close political ties with key figures within the ruling APC despite serving in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The unexpected meeting between the influential politician and the APC chairman is expected to generate further reactions within Nigeria’s political landscape.
More details later.
