WHY TINUBU, UBA SANI DESERVE SOUTHERN KADUNA VOTES – SEN. KA
A senator has urged residents of Southern Kaduna to support President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani in the 2027 elections, arguing that their administrations deserve recognition for their policies and development efforts.
The lawmaker, identified as Senator Katung, said voters should assess the performance of both leaders and consider their contributions to infrastructure, security, economic development and efforts to promote peaceful coexistence across Kaduna State.
He maintained that Southern Kaduna should make electoral decisions based on governance and tangible benefits rather than political divisions. He also urged residents to consider the importance of sustained engagement between the region and the state and federal governments.
The senator’s appeal comes as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, with political parties and their supporters beginning to build alliances and mobilise voters.
Southern Kaduna has remained an important political constituency in the state, with longstanding concerns over insecurity, development, representation and relations among communities. Political leaders seeking support from the area are expected to address these issues as they make their case to voters.
The senator argued that cooperation between elected officials and their constituents was essential to ensuring that development projects and government programmes reached communities in need. He encouraged residents to participate actively in the democratic process and evaluate candidates on their records and policy commitments.
Tinubu’s administration has pursued major economic reforms, while Uba Sani’s government has emphasised security, infrastructure and engagement with communities across Kaduna State. However, both administrations continue to face public scrutiny over the effects of economic hardship and persistent security challenges.
The senator urged Southern Kaduna residents to support leaders they believe can advance development and stability, stressing that political participation should focus on the long-term interests of the region and its people.
