Nollywood actress and chef, Sarah Oghenekaro Akatugba, popularly known as Sarah Sweet, has opened up about her relationship status, revealing why she remains single despite attracting admirers.

Speaking in a recent interview, the curvy actress said she is single because she’s tired of men’s deceit, disrespect, and irresponsibility — not because she lacks suitors.

“I am not single because I don’t have people asking me out,” she said.
“I am single because I am really tired of men’s deceit, disrespect, and inability to be responsible.”

Sarah, who values loyalty, trust, and genuine friendship, noted that many people no longer understand what true friendship means.

“Friendship is someone you know to a certain level that you can vouch for — not just acquaintances. I’m very big on loyalty. If I call you a friend, I’m 110% out for you. I don’t envy or backbite, and I expect the same energy,” she added.

The actress, nicknamed “Queen of 110%”, said any man hoping to marry her must “come correct” — meeting her standards of integrity and commitment.

Beyond acting, Sarah revealed that her participation in Empire Mansion Season 2, a reality show, strengthened her passion for philanthropy, particularly empowering young girls through education and skill acquisition.

“My time in the mansion made me realise the power of giving back. I’ve always believed in helping the less privileged, but now I’m more focused on empowering young girls,” she said.
