Terrorists Eliminated, Roads Now Safer – NSA Ribadu Declares in Kaduna

Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has announced a major security breakthrough with the killing of three notorious terrorists who once controlled large portions of the Abuja-Kaduna expressway.

Speaking during an interactive session hosted by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation in Kaduna, Ribadu proudly revealed that the terrorists—Kachalla Boka, Dogo Isah, and Kachalla Shekau—have all been eliminated in recent security operations.

“These criminals were the reason Nigerians feared driving through Abuja to Kaduna,” Ribadu said. “But today, we’ve taken them out—and we’re taking our roads back.”

According to him, the removal of these high-profile threats has drastically improved safety on the highway, encouraging government officials to resume road travel.

“Even last night, we drove from Abuja—it’s a statement we want to make,” he added. “We’ve stopped all the ministers from flying. Everyone now travels by road.”

The Abuja-Kaduna highway has long been plagued by kidnappings, armed robbery, and terrorist activities, making it one of Nigeria’s most feared roads. The elimination of these top terror leaders is a significant milestone in restoring confidence in public safety.

This announcement has sparked hope among citizens who have avoided road travel due to fear, and it reflects growing efforts by the government to reassert control over critical transportation routes.

With this renewed focus on security, the federal government appears committed to making Nigeria’s highways safer for all.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
