The Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Folorunso Aluko, has revealed that six additional state governors are expected to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) before the end of 2027.

Aluko made this known on Thursday during the PGF’s Quarterly Strategy Meeting for Information Commissioners from APC-governed states, held in Maiduguri, Borno State.

He noted that the party remains strategically positioned to achieve its objectives and consolidate its influence across the country.

According to him, the PGF is confident of expanding its membership from the current 24 states to at least 30 by 2027.

Aluko also emphasized the need for unity among APC-led states, urging them to align their policies with the federal government’s vision, act with integrity, and promote the ideals of renewed hope in national development.

“Insha Allah and by the will of Nigerians, we are confident that the PGF will grow from today’s 24 states to at least 30 before the end of 2027,” he said.

“We are strengthening our strategic direction and ensuring that every message we share delivers measurable impact. As we look toward 2027, our conviction remains unwavering — the APC will continue to grow stronger.”

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
