‘WE’LL REPOSITION THE CLUB’ — AHMED MUSA ASSURES KANO PILLARS SUPPORTERS
Newly appointed General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club, Ahmed Musa, has pledged to restore the club to its former prominence.
Musa’s appointment was officially announced by the Kano State Government last Saturday.
The Super Eagles veteran was part of the Pillars’ squad during the last season, where he made a notable impact by netting 10 goals in 23 league matches for the Sai Masu Gida.
Despite his contribution, the team had a lackluster season, finishing ninth in the Nigeria Premier Football League and underperforming in the President Federation Cup.
Addressing the club’s media, Musa emphasized the importance of collective effort in rebuilding the team.
“I want to assure everyone that with your support and the board’s backing, I will do everything within my power to transform Kano Pillars into a top-tier club — not just in Africa but on the global stage,” he said.
The four-time NPFL champions have already kicked off preparations ahead of the 2025/26 season.
