WAKANOW RECEIVES SAUDI RECOGNITION FOR UMRAH SERVICES

Nigerian travel company Wakanow has received recognition from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for its performance in supporting international travel during the first quarter of the 1448 AH season.

The company received the Award for Excellence in Performance of International Travel Platforms for its contribution to the travel ecosystem supporting Umrah pilgrims.

Wakanow provides travel services to Nigerian pilgrims visiting Makkah and Madinah, including visa assistance, accommodation, airport transfers and ground transportation.

The company’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Bayo Adedeji, described the recognition as an important milestone and said it reflected the efforts of its staff and partners in supporting travellers.

Adedeji said the company would continue to improve its services and provide assistance to customers throughout their journeys.

The recognition comes as Wakanow continues to expand its presence in the Umrah travel market and strengthen its travel support services for Nigerian pilgrims.

The company said its platform combines technology, travel expertise and customer support to simplify travel planning and provide assistance before and during pilgrimages.
