VITINHA HAILS PSG STAR NUNO MENDES AS THE BEST LEFT-BACK IN THE WORLD
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha has declared his teammate Nuno Mendes as the best left-back in the world, ahead of PSG’s UEFA Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Both players are not only teammates at PSG but also represent Portugal’s national team, where their on-field chemistry continues to shine.
“For me, Nuno Mendes is the best left back in the world,” Vitinha told reporters, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
The 23-year-old Mendes has been a key player for Luis Enrique’s side, playing a vital role in PSG’s historic 2023/2024 season, where they lifted the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1 title, UEFA Super Cup, and the French Cup.
Since joining PSG from Sporting CP in 2022, Mendes has continued to impress with his pace, defensive awareness, and attacking contributions. So far this season, he has registered four goals and three assists across all competitions.
Vitinha’s praise highlights Mendes’ growing influence in world football and reaffirms his status as one of PSG’s most valuable assets.
