VIDEO CAPTURES MOMENT TERRORISTS ATTACKED CAC CHURCH IN KWARA
Terrorists on Tuesday stormed a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku town, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, killing three worshippers and abducting several others, including the pastor.
The attack reportedly plunged the community into panic and despair.
According to reports, the gunmen struck during a church meeting, opening fire and forcing worshippers to flee for safety. A video of the attack has circulated online.
Three members were reportedly shot dead on the spot, while others were seized at gunpoint and taken into the nearby bush. “The gunmen came in suddenly and started shooting. Three people were killed instantly,” a source said. “They marched the others into the bush. The exact number of abductees is still unknown.”
The attackers reportedly fled through bush paths connecting Eruku to neighboring communities, leaving residents in fear and confusion.
As of this report, the Kwara State Police Command and state government have not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
