Nigerian forwards Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu have been named in the Turkish Süper Lig Team of the Week following standout performances for their clubs over the weekend.

Osimhen played a key role in Galatasaray’s 1-0 victory over Istanbul rivals Beşiktaş, scoring the decisive goal. The strike marked his 11th league goal of the season.

Onuachu, meanwhile, scored twice to lead Trabzonspor to a 3-1 win against Kayserispor. The forward has now scored 20 goals in 22 league appearances for the Black Sea Storm this season.

Another Nigerian, Ibrahim Olawoyin, also earned a spot in the Team of the Week after starring in Çaykur Rizespor’s 1-0 win over Antalyaspor.
