VICTOR BONIFACE RESUMES TRAINING AT WERDER BREMEN AFTER LOAN MOVE
Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has officially resumed training with Bundesliga side Werder Bremen following his deadline-day loan move from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 24-year-old forward was all smiles as he linked up with his new teammates for the first time, looking eager to make an impact at the club.
Boniface joined Bremen on a season-long loan and is expected to boost their attacking options this campaign. However, fans will have to wait until after the international break to see him in action, as his debut won’t come before then.
Interestingly, Boniface was left out of Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, despite initially being named in the 31-man provisional list.
The former Union Saint-Gilloise star will now focus on settling quickly at Bremen as he looks to rediscover top form and stake his claim both at club and international level.
