VeryDarkMan Reacts to Iyabo Ojo’s Petition Against Police Commissioner Uche

Controversial social media commentator, VeryDarkMan, has reacted to actress Iyabo Ojo’s recent petition against the Nigeria Police and CP Ifeanyi Henry Uche, describing it as ineffective.

Iyabo Ojo had submitted a petition to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, accusing CP Uche — the head of the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC) — of unprofessional conduct. She claimed the commissioner interrogated her in the presence of VeryDarkMan, a civilian who is also a defendant in a separate case in which she is a witness.

The actress’s concern raised eyebrows, as it questions police procedure and possible intimidation during investigations.

But in a swift response via his Instagram story on Tuesday, VeryDarkMan brushed off the petition, saying it wouldn’t yield any result.
He sarcastically wrote:

“@nigeriastory this petition na suya paper,”
— implying the petition is as worthless as the paper used to wrap street food.

This clash comes just weeks after Iyabo Ojo honored a police invitation over her public accusations against music stars Naira Marley and Sam Larry, whom she called out following singer Mohbad’s controversial death. She had urged authorities to investigate the duo after videos surfaced online allegedly showing them bullying the late singer.

The unfolding drama continues to generate buzz online, with Nigerians watching closely to see how the police and the parties involved will handle the fallout.
