The United States Mission in Nigeria has reaffirmed its strong partnership with Nigeria, highlighting long-standing cooperation across key sectors including security, trade, health, education, and culture.

In a statement posted on its official X account, the mission said both countries continue to maintain “deep ties” that support shared prosperity and development.

It noted that the relationship extends beyond government-level engagement, encompassing strong people-to-people, institutional, and private-sector connections.

The mission also emphasized ongoing collaboration in areas such as counterterrorism, economic growth, and educational exchange programmes.

According to the statement, the partnership remains a key pillar of US engagement in Africa and continues to support stability and opportunity in both countries.
