US LAWMAKER WARNS: NIGERIA ONE OF THE DEADLIEST COUNTRIES FOR CHRISTIANS

A fresh warning has been issued by the United States regarding the escalating attacks on Christians in Nigeria. Congresswoman Nancy Mace stated on Friday that the situation in the country is becoming increasingly dangerous, describing Nigeria as “one of the deadliest countries in the world for Christians.”

Mace criticized the current U.S. administration for what she sees as a lack of decisive action, noting that the trend of targeted attacks has continued without significant intervention. She also faulted former President Joe Biden for removing Nigeria from the “Country of Particular Concern” list, which designated nations with serious violations of religious freedom.

Praising President Donald Trump, Mace highlighted his tougher stance on international religious freedom, saying, “President Trump is working to reverse those decisions. 45/47 remains one of the most consequential presidents in American history.”

Her comments come amid growing discussions in Washington about how the U.S. should respond to claims of targeted killings and persecution of Christians in Nigeria. The warning underscores the urgent need for both domestic and international attention to the safety and protection of religious minorities in the country.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
