UCL: WHAT OSIMHEN SAID AFTER GALATASARAY’S 3-1 WIN OVER BODO/GLIMT
Galatasaray forward, Victor Osimhen, has expressed delight after scoring a brace in his team’s 3-1 UEFA Champions League victory over Bodo/Glimt on Wednesday night.
Osimhen opened the scoring for the Turkish giants just three minutes into the match at RAMS Park before doubling the advantage later in the first half.
His goals helped Galatasaray secure a vital win, extending their strong form in Europe. The Nigerian star also made history as the second Galatasaray player to score in seven consecutive European matches.
Speaking after the match, Osimhen dedicated the victory and his performance to his teammates, stressing that football is a collective effort.
“I didn’t win the award alone. I hope my other teammates win as well.
I want to help the team, if not with my goals, then with my tackling and assists.
I’m not breaking these records alone. Thanks to the entire team,” Osimhen said.
The 26-year-old striker’s impressive run of form continues to make him one of Galatasaray’s most influential players this season, as the club pushes for a place in the Champions League knockout stages.
