Victor Osimhen played a key role as Galatasaray secured a 5-2 win against Juventus in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff clash on Tuesday night.

Gabriel Sara opened the scoring for Galatasaray in the 15th minute, but Juventus responded with two goals from Teun Koopmeiners to take the lead.

Four minutes after the break, Noah Lang equalized for the Turkish side, and Davidson Sanchez restored Galatasaray’s advantage on the hour mark.

Juventus were reduced to 10 men in the 67th minute when Juan Cabal received a second yellow card and was sent off.

Osimhen then set up Galatasaray’s final two goals, assisting Noah Lang and Sacha Boey to seal the emphatic win.

The return leg is scheduled for next Wednesday in Turin.
