Ajax head coach, John Heitinga, has said his team must find a way to stop Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, when both sides meet in their UEFA Champions League clash.

Ajax will host the Turkish Super Lig champions at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Wednesday for their matchday four encounter.

Osimhen has been in fine form for Galatasaray, scoring three goals in two Champions League appearances this season.

The Nigerian forward has also notched six goals in seven matches across all competitions for Okan Buruk’s side.

Heitinga emphasised the need for his players to contain the 26-year-old’s threat.

“Victor Osimhen is a great striker. He’s smart, strong, and fast; you have to be smart about that. He’s a pretty complete player, but we’ll do everything in our power to neutralise him,” Heitinga said ahead of the game.
