Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has revealed that he no longer supports Manchester United or any football team.

The British boxer, who has often been spotted at Old Trafford in the past, admitted he has completely lost interest in football due to United’s struggles in recent seasons.

Speaking to Racing TV at Cartmel Racecourse, Fury said:

“I’m not a supporter of football really. I used to support United, but because they’re in the s*** now, I’m no supporter of any football teams anymore.”

Manchester United endured a disastrous 2024/25 campaign, finishing 15th in the Premier League. This season, their woes have continued with a 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal and a 1-1 draw with Fulham—results that have left fans frustrated.

Fury also stressed that his lack of interest extends to the national team: he no longer supports England either.

The boxer’s blunt remarks echo the frustrations of many fans who feel disillusioned with the club’s current state.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
