TRUMP SLAMS MUSK’S NEW POLITICAL PARTY, CALLS IT ‘RIDICULOUS’

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has fired back at Elon Musk, mocking the tech billionaire’s latest political move as nothing short of “ridiculous.”

Musk recently grabbed headlines by hinting at the creation of a new political party, aiming to disrupt America’s traditional two-party system. While details are still sketchy, the Tesla and SpaceX boss has suggested it could serve as a fresh alternative to both Democrats and Republicans.

But Trump isn’t buying it. Speaking to reporters, he waved off Musk’s idea, saying, “It’s ridiculous. Totally ridiculous. Elon should stick to rockets and electric cars.”

Trump, who remains a dominant figure in the Republican Party and is widely expected to be a major player in the 2028 presidential race, suggested that Musk’s foray into politics was more about grabbing attention than offering real solutions.

Political analysts say Musk’s idea, while intriguing, faces steep challenges. America’s political system has been deeply entrenched around two parties for over 160 years, making it notoriously tough for third parties to gain traction.

Meanwhile, Musk hasn’t shied away from political commentary in recent years — often sparking debates on social media over everything from free speech to immigration and AI regulation. But launching a full-fledged party would be a bold new step.

For now, Trump seems content to dismiss it outright. Whether Musk decides to push ahead or drops the idea remains to be seen. Either way, the prospect of these two headline-makers trading more barbs is likely to keep the political world — and Twitter — buzzing.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
