TRIDENT BEGINS COMMERCIAL ROLLOUT OF GHANA REVENUE AUTHORITY MSME DIGITAL PLATFORM
Technology firm Trident Digital has commenced the commercial rollout of a new digital platform developed for the Ghana Revenue Authority, aimed at improving tax administration and supporting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The platform is designed to simplify tax registration, filing, and compliance processes for small businesses, while improving efficiency and transparency in revenue collection.
According to project stakeholders, the system will help MSMEs access tax services more easily, reduce administrative burdens, and encourage greater participation in the formal economy.
Officials in Ghana said the initiative forms part of broader digital transformation efforts within the country’s public sector, particularly in improving service delivery through technology.
Industry observers note that digital tax platforms are increasingly being adopted across Africa as governments seek to widen their tax base and support small business growth through simplified compliance systems.
Trident Digital said the rollout will be implemented in phases, with additional features expected to be introduced to improve user experience and system efficiency.
The development is expected to strengthen collaboration between government agencies and the private sector in advancing digital public services.
