Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen have secured the services of Nigerian midfielder Afeez Aremu from German club FC Kaiserslautern.

The 26-year-old, a former Nigeria youth international, has signed a contract with the Dons that runs until 2028, becoming the club’s fifth signing of the January transfer window.

Aremu spent the past three years at Kaiserslautern, featuring in 25 league matches. He has also played in Germany for St. Pauli and began his professional career in Norway with IK Start.
