TRANSCORP HOTELS GRADUATES 64 WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS
Transcorp Hotels has graduated 64 women from its flagship entrepreneurship programme, equipping them with essential business skills and mentorship to foster economic empowerment and self-reliance.
The intensive training initiative, which focused on financial literacy, marketing, digital tools, and business management, culminated in a graduation ceremony where participants received certificates and startup grants. Transcorp Hotels Managing Director, Mr. Michael Nzekwe, described the programme as part of the company’s commitment to gender inclusion and community development.
“Empowering women entrepreneurs is key to building stronger communities and a more inclusive economy. We are proud to support these remarkable women on their journey,” Nzekwe said. The graduates, drawn from various parts of the country, presented business plans ranging from agribusiness to fashion and services.
The programme has been lauded by participants for its practical approach and networking opportunities. Transcorp Hotels plans to expand the initiative in the coming year to reach more women across Nigeria.
The graduation reinforces the private sector’s role in driving sustainable development and women’s economic participation.
