TOTALENERGIES MARKETING NIGERIA REPORTS LOSS AMID 26% REVENUE DECLINE IN 2025

TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc has posted a loss for the year ended December 31, 2025, following a 26 per cent drop in revenue to N767.63 billion, down from N1.04 trillion in 2024.

 

The company disclosed its audited financial statements on Monday via the Nigerian Exchange Ltd., showing a profit before tax of N12.46 billion in 2025, compared with a profit of N42.26 billion in 2024. Loss after tax amounted to N13.85 billion, against a profit of N27.50 billion the previous year, while total comprehensive income fell to a N13.96 billion loss from a gain of N27.49 billion.

 

Shareholders’ funds decreased by 37 per cent to N47.54 billion, down from N75.08 billion, although share capital remained steady at N169.76 million. Earnings per share declined to a loss of 40.80 kobo, from 80.99 kobo in 2024.

 

The company’s share price also fell eight per cent to N640 from N698, while staff strength slightly reduced to 413 employees from 420 recorded the previous year.
