The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, founded by Niger Delta businessman Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has launched its Kano State structure and donated 50 vehicles to support its mobilisation activities for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The vehicles were presented on Sunday at the Kano State Government House during the unveiling of the movement’s state structure. The event was attended by APC leaders, government officials, lawmakers, traditional and religious leaders and supporters.

Representing Tompolo, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Guwor, said the movement would establish grassroots structures across Kano’s 44 local government areas and engage voters at the community level.

He said the group was supporting Tinubu based on its assessment of the administration’s economic reforms and infrastructure projects.

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who received the vehicles, said they would be deployed to political structures and groups across the state as preparations for the 2027 elections continue.

Yusuf also called for peaceful and issue-based campaigns, urging political actors to focus on their programmes, achievements and plans rather than personal attacks.

The Kano launch is part of the movement’s wider mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 presidential election, following similar activities in other northern states.
