Media personality Toke Makinwa, who welcomed her first child, Yakira Eliana, in August 2025, recently held a lavish dedication ceremony at The Logic Church, Lekki, Lagos.

Arriving in a black Rolls-Royce, Makinwa and her daughter, both dressed in elegant white custom-made gowns, were surrounded by family and friends as they joined her at the altar for the dedication service.

Following the church event, guests converged at the Landmark Event Centre for a grand reception. Makinwa changed into a stunning pink gown designed by Tubo, radiating joy as she danced the evening away.

A touching moment came when she shared an emotional dance with singer Tiwa Savage, drawing cheers from the crowd. Makinwa also shared the dance floor with close friends, including Farouk Umar, whose presence at the event sparked online discussions. While some social media users speculated about his connection to the new mother, others praised his consistent support through the years.

Expressing her gratitude, Makinwa said the birth of her daughter had given her life new meaning and purpose. The occasion also served as an early birthday celebration, as she turned a year older on November 3, with guests joining in a special birthday song to honor her.
