TIPPER DANGLES OFF KARA BRIDGE ON LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY

An empty tipper truck was left hanging on the railings of Kara Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday morning, while a separate flatbed truck spilled its load onto the road.

Both incidents occurred on the carriageway heading towards Mowe, Ogun State, and were reported at about 7am, according to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority.

The agency said a tow truck was at the scene to evacuate the vehicles, with police officers from Adigboluja also present.

Traffic officers were managing movement towards Mowe, and traffic was flowing smoothly at the time of the update.

The agency’s report did not state what caused either incident or whether anyone was injured.
