Tinubu’s Team Member Hails Students As June 12 Heroes

A top member of President Bola Tinubu’s team, Sunday Ashefon, has praised Nigerian students, calling them the “heroes of June 12” for showing support for the president.

On Thursday, leaders of the National Association of Polytechnic Students and the National Association of Nigerian Students held a rally to thank the president for his efforts in improving the education sector.

Ashefon said the rally was a surprise to him and the Minister of Youth Development, and he praised the students’ leadership.

He added that the president is happy about their support and promised to keep working closely with students through his office.
