TINUBU WELCOMES CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP KAIGAMA TO PRESIDENTIAL VILLA
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Ignatius Kaigama, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting took place amid recent allegations by U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed that Christians in Nigeria were facing genocide and designated the country as a “Country of Particular Concern.” Trump had also hinted at possible U.S. military intervention if the killings persisted.
The genocide claims have sparked widespread discussions, prompting the Nigerian government to dismiss the allegations, insisting that Christians and Muslims coexist peacefully across the country.
As of the time of filing this report, details of Archbishop Kaigama’s visit to the Villa remain undisclosed, as the Presidency has yet to release an official statement.
