TINUBU IS A ‘USE AND DUMP LEADER’ – SENATOR MARAFA
Former lawmaker, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has taken a swipe at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a “use-and-dump leader.”
Marafa, who recently resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), remarked during an interview on Channels Television on Monday, September 1.
According to him, the way the President has treated former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, ex-APC chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and even himself, shows a pattern of using people for political gains and later discarding them.
“Looking at the treatment of El-Rufai, Ganduje, and myself, we are now convinced that Mr. President is a ‘use and dump leader,’” Marafa said.
Marafa, who served as the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Coordinator in Zamfara State during the 2023 elections, also issued a strong political threat ahead of 2027.
“I’m going to deduct one million out of Mr. President’s votes that he got in 2023. Mark my words. I’ll work for it, and by the special grace of God, I’m going to achieve it,” he vowed.
His resignation and sharp criticism add to growing political tensions within the APC as the 2027 elections draw closer.
