TINUBU ARRIVES IN UAE AHEAD OF SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT
President Bola Tinubu has arrived in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week summit.
The President landed at around 11:00 p.m. local time and was received by the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs.
His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, stated that President Tinubu is attending the summit at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Onanuga noted that the annual global forum gathers leaders from government and business to discuss issues related to sustainable development. This year’s summit is themed, “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go.”
President Tinubu departed Nigeria on December 28 from Lagos for what the Presidency described as an end-of-year break in Europe. Last week, he was seen in France meeting with Rwanda’s President.
He is expected to return to Nigeria after the week-long summit.
