President Bola Tinubu on Saturday arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital, for a one-day official visit.

The President landed at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, where he was welcomed by Governor Nasir Idris, top government officials and other dignitaries.

He is scheduled to proceed to the fishing arena to officially declare open the 61st edition of the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as Special Guest of Honour.

Dignitaries, including the Governor of Sokoto State and other state governors, are in attendance and will accompany the President for the formal commencement of the festival.
