TARABA GOV RESHUFFLES CABINET, REDEPLOYS FOUR COMMISSIONERS

Taraba State Governor, **Agbu Kefas**, has approved the immediate redeployment of four commissioners as part of a cabinet reshuffle aimed at strengthening the administration’s operations.

The changes were contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, **Chief Gebon Kataps**, and made available to journalists in Jalingo.

Under the new arrangement, the Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Industry, **Peter George**, has been moved to the Ministry of Water Management and Aquatic Affairs.

The Commissioner for Water Management and Aquatic Affairs, **Daniel Ishaku**, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Waste Management and Resource Innovation.

The reshuffle is part of the governor’s efforts to reposition members of the State Executive Council and improve coordination across key sectors of the administration.

The affected commissioners are expected to assume their new portfolios immediately and continue with the implementation of government programmes within their respective ministries.

The state government said the changes were part of ongoing efforts to ensure effective service delivery and align the cabinet with the administration’s development priorities.

The redeployment comes as the Taraba Government continues to focus on areas including water management, environmental sustainability, commerce and economic development.

Further details on the other two affected commissioners and their new portfolios are expected to form part of the official cabinet adjustment announced by the state government.
