Tragedy struck in Ombi Anzaku, Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, as a young woman identified as Favour Francis was reportedly killed by suspected kidnappers.

The incident occurred on Friday night, October 3, 2025, while her lifeless body was discovered in the early hours of Monday, October 6.

Sources revealed that Favour had recently enrolled for her Higher National Diploma (HND) before the unfortunate attack that claimed her life.

Residents of the community described the killing as heart-wrenching and senseless, calling on security agencies to intensify patrols and ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.

“This is shocking and painful. She was just starting a new phase of her life before this happened. We need better security here,” a resident lamented.

The body of the deceased has been deposited in a local hospital morgue as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding her death.
