It’s celebration time for Nigeria’s Super Falcons!

Following their thrilling 3-2 victory over Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses in the WAFCON final on Saturday night in Rabat, the team is being honoured with a live concert at Eagles Square in Abuja.

The National Sports Commission (NSC) has confirmed that the event will hold tonight, Monday at 7pm, and will feature top Nigerian celebrities performing live for the team, their officials, and excited fans.

The Super Falcons landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday afternoon to a hero’s welcome. Waiting to receive them were Governors Hope Uzodinma (Imo), Uba Sani (Kano), and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), alongside other dignitaries and hundreds of cheering Nigerians.

But the celebrations don’t end at the concert.

The team is also expected to meet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu later today at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, in recognition of their remarkable triumph on the continental stage.

Tonight’s event promises to be a mix of music, excitement, and national pride—a well-deserved celebration for Africa’s champions!

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
