This clash marks the first meeting between both sides since 2012, when Nigeria triumphed 3-1 in Miami, courtesy of goals from Brown Ideye, Nosa Igiebor, and Ogenyi Onazi.
The friendly is part of Nigeria’s build-up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, as head coach Eric Chelle looks to fine-tune his squad ahead of the tournament.
Before the Venezuela game, the Super Eagles will complete their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign in October with matches against Lesotho and the Benin Republic.
Fans will be hoping the team continues their momentum as preparations intensify for continental and global challenges.
