Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has disclosed his ambition to one day manage Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Chelle said his goal is to become the first African coach to take charge of the LaLiga powerhouse, revealing this during an interview with RMC Sport.

“My dream is to become the first African coach to manage Real Madrid,” he stated.

The Malian tactician recently led Nigeria to a third-place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco. The Super Eagles enjoyed an impressive run at the tournament, winning all but one of their matches, with their only defeat coming via penalties against hosts Morocco in the semi-finals.
