Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has set the record straight about her family life, emphasizing that she is not a single mother. On her Instagram page, the mother of two stated:

“I’m not a single Mom. I’m a single woman raising two kids.”

This clarification comes following her separation from her ex-husband, legendary singer 2Baba, who has since moved on with Edo-state lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

Annie made headlines last year at the Headies Awards when she publicly embraced her new identity. Presenting on stage, she announced she was no longer Annie Idibia but Annie Macaulay and proudly declared her single status.

Since her separation, Annie has focused on raising her daughters. At the awards, she described them as her backbone. In a touching moment, Annie and her eldest daughter, Isabella, recreated a scene from her popular series Young, Famous and African, while her younger daughter, Olivia, freestyled a heartfelt song for her mother. Annie shared the clip online, praising Olivia as “her superstar.”

On Mother’s Day in March, Isabella also celebrated her mother, calling her the best mom a daughter could ask for. In a candid post, Annie reflected on her journey, expressing hope that her daughters recognize their worth from the start and never settle for less than they deserve.
