Drama unfolded on a recent flight from Asaba to Lagos when Nigerian social media star Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi (Mr Jollof) got into a physical altercation onboard a United Nigerian Airline aircraft.

The incident was first reported by Facebook user Dr Paul Ezikel, who posted a video of the fight on Monday morning, capturing the chaotic moment.

According to reports, the clash appears to have stemmed from previous online disputes, during which VDM accused the comedian’s wife of inappropriate conduct, sparking tension between the two personalities.

VDM later confirmed the fight in a Facebook post, claiming that he “dealt with Mr Jollof” during the altercation. In a video, he said:

“I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey de bite.”

The confrontation has since sparked widespread discussion on social media, with fans reacting to both the intensity of the in-flight drama and the ongoing feud between the two celebrities.

This latest episode underscores how online spats among influencers can sometimes spill into real-life encounters, turning virtual conflicts into public spectacles.
