Greaterworks Ventures Nigeria Ltd., in partnership with the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Students, University of Abuja Chapter, and the Poultry Farmers Forum North Central Nigeria, has outlined an initiative to empower young people through practical agricultural training.

The programme, called the Seyi Tinubu Operation Back to Agriculture Initiatives (SOBAI), is designed to equip hundreds of youths with skills in poultry production and agribusiness.

According to the organisers, the goal is to help participants become self-reliant, establish viable businesses and create employment opportunities.

The partnership seeks to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical farming experience, giving young people a clearer understanding of how agricultural knowledge can support a sustainable livelihood.

Beyond training, the organisers hope to encourage entrepreneurship and strengthen youth participation in Nigeria’s agricultural sector. They believe access to productive skills and legitimate income opportunities can help address unemployment and contribute to more stable communities.

The initiative also presents agriculture as a pathway to food security, wealth creation and economic development.

The organisers said the programme is dedicated to honouring Seyi Tinubu while drawing attention to the importance of agricultural opportunities for young Nigerians.

Through the collaboration, Greaterworks Ventures, NAAS and the Poultry Farmers Forum aim to encourage more youths to see farming as a business with opportunities beyond the classroom.

Their stated commitment centres on developing skills, creating opportunities and helping young people move from seeking jobs to building enterprises of their own.
