“SERIE A: LAZIO OPEN TO SELLING NIGERIAN MIDFIELDER FISAYO DELE-BASHIRU IN JANUARY”
Italian Serie A club Lazio is reportedly open to selling Nigerian midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru when the January transfer window reopens, according to reports by DAILY POST.
The 24-year-old joined the Bianconeri from Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor in 2024. However, he has struggled to establish himself in his debut season with the club.
Dele-Bashiru has been hampered by a hamstring injury this term, limiting his opportunities. So far, the talented playmaker has made just four league appearances under coach Maurizio Sarri.
According to Football Italia, Lazio will consider offers for the Nigeria international if a credible and convincing proposal comes forward, signaling that the club is ready to let him leave should the right opportunity arise.
The January window could provide Dele-Bashiru with a chance to reignite his career and find more consistent playing time elsewhere.
