SALAH SCORES, ASSISTS IN TRABZONSPOR 2-0 WIN OVER HEARTS

Mohamed Salah scored one goal and created another as Trabzonspor defeated Hearts 2–0 in the UEFA Conference League.

The Egyptian forward played a decisive role in the Turkish side’s second league-phase victory, helping them maintain a perfect start to the competition.

Salah opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute after Franculino Dju was fouled inside the area. His conversion gave Trabzonspor a 1–0 lead heading into half-time.

He then helped set up Franculino’s goal in the 58th minute, doubling the hosts’ advantage and leaving Hearts with a difficult task.

The Scottish visitors had threatened early, with goalkeeper André Onana called into action and a header striking the woodwork. However, they could not turn those opportunities into a goal.

Trabzonspor finished with 10 players after Sidny Cabral received a second yellow card deep into stoppage time, but the dismissal came too late to change the result.

The win moved Trabzonspor to six points from two matches. They are scheduled to host Freiburg in their next Conference League fixture.

For Salah, the performance offered another demonstration of his ability to influence a match both as a scorer and a creator.
