SAHEED OSUPA RESPONDS TO DEATH PROPHECY BY ISLAMIC CLERIC [VIDEO]
Legendary Fuji musician, Saheed Osupa, has spoken out following a prophecy by a Nigerian cleric predicting his death.
The controversial Muslim cleric, popularly known as Alpha Olopa Meta, had claimed that the singer would die on January 10, 2026. He also alleged that he had pleaded with God on Osupa’s behalf and advised the Fuji icon to purchase a large ram for prayers.
Reacting to the prophecy during a live performance on Sunday, January 11, 2026, Osupa dismissed the claim and issued a stern warning.
“Fake Alpha and prophet, please don’t wish me dead. Anyone who wishes me dead will die in my place,” he said.
He further added, “Close enemies, unknown enemies, enemies of my career, and those around me should be careful. Do not wish me dead, or you will die before me.”
